Leadership

Terry Bowman was born and raised in Western New York, and has faithfully served as the pastor of Emmanuel Church for over thirty years. Terry and his wife Bonnie will be celebrating 60 years of marriage this fall. He is one of the founding members of the church, and was part of the team that help build the church on Goodrich road. Terry was a teacher for many years and has a passion for serving people and creating a safe, welcoming place for families.

Alex  was born and raised in Western New York. He is married to his wife Kayla, and they have three boys, Elijah, John-Michael, and Lukas. He received his bachelor's degree from Liberty University in Religion with a minor in Biblical Studies, he received his Masters of Divinity in preaching and teaching from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently working on his Doctor of Education and Ministry, with a specialization in Education and Discipleship at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Alex has a passion for reaching people with the gospel, and equipping people and families for discipleship in their own context. He is excited to see what God is doing in the region and excited to love and serve all who come to Emmanuel.
